This directory contains three files - this README file, a compressed copy of the Mosaic 2.2 binary for IRIX 4.0.5 or greater, and the X resources file associated with Mosaic. These files were both initially retrieved via ftp from ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu. Only the X resources file has been modified, and only in as much as the home document has been changed. If you would like to retrieve the source to Mosaic, it can be found at NCSA. Also available are xv and mpeg_play executables for SGI systems. After retrieving the files via FTP, install as follows: % su # uncompress Mosaic-sgi.Z # mv Mosaic-sgi /usr/bin/X11/Mosaic # mv app-defaults.color-sgi /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Mosaic # exit % rehash % Mosaic And you're off and running.
